Beaver Falls Education Foundation

In 2003, the BF Education Foundation authorized the publication of an alumni directory with Harris Publications. In 2008, the foundation authorized Harris (now Harris Connect) to begin publication of an updated directory.

Many of you may have gotten post-cards asking you to verify your name and address from Harris Connect on behalf of Sonny Blucher and the BF Education Foundation.

This is NOT a scam.

The Foundation undertook this effort mainly to give reunion planners a tool they could use to locate classmates. Currently copies of the 2003 directory are available at the Beaver County Research Center located on the 2nd floor of Carnegie Library in BF and at the various BFSD libraries as well as the administrative building.

The Foundation does receive a small fixed fee per book sold which is contigent on the number sold, but the Foundation IS NOT pushing alumni to buy a copy of the directory.

We expect the 2008 directory to be published in April and complimentary copies the Foundation receives will be distributed to the same locales as in 2003.

For anyone who may be interested in buying a copy of the updated directory either for class reunion planning or personal use, there are three versions available:

- A hardback version for approx $90
- A softback version for approx $75
- A CD-ROM for specific classes that includes the specific class plus the 2 prior year classes and 2 subsequent year classes for approx $20
